Actual Factual end-user reports on what each printer brand is really
like in real life
This print shop
owner has a Roland
and a ColorSpan.
Sure makes it easy to compare pros and cons of each.
When we interview
people who actually have to put up with the quirks of a printer in
real life then we learn quickly about that these printers are really
like.
For example, that
claimed eternal permanent piezo printheads are anything but that.
Piezo printheads fail, fizzle out, drop colors, clog, and are just
like any other mechnical device. But worse, when they go bad, it takes
a long time to get them replaced because you can't do it yourself.
So this sign shop
owner reported the unpleasant reality of having clients needing their
work while his printer was down waiting for new piezo printheads.
To replace what
ads and sales reps and tradeshow booth people claim are permanent
printheads.
All this is why
people who don't want to waste their money come to FLAAR to find out
what may function best in their own shop.
Just be sure also
to check around on your own. What is best is to get several diverse
experiences.
Nice thing about
FLAAR experiences is that we provide them all at no cost to you in
handy Adobe Acrobat PDF downloads sent to you via e-mail
